Call for Proposals Deadline is Extended The deadline for submitting a session proposal or a speaker for Greenbuild's 2026 program is extended through February 20th . This year's event theme is Invest for Impact and takes place October 20-23 , at the Javits Center in New York City. Submitting a proposal is your opportunity to shape the content of Greenbuild’s education sessions and incorporate the 2026 theme in new and creative ways that relate to the green building industry. At Living Futures Committee’s November 2025 meeting, we were privileged to have Ava C alvano present the basics of International Living Futures Institute’s (ILFI) Living Building Challenge. Ava is the Institute’s Education Manager. The main theme of the Living Building Challenge is to go beyond minimizing the negative impacts of the built environment; it strives to create positive impacts. As we share our final Member Magazine of the year, it’s clear that the season is shifting.
